“headspace saved my life when I was 14, my GP referred me and it completely changed the course of my life in the best way”

“headspace saved my life when I was 14, my GP referred me and it completely changed the course of my life in the best way”
Every dollar helps us to continue having life-changing conversations with young people like Grace.
We know that navigating cost-of-living challenges, natural disasters and fears for the future - all while figuring out your place in the world - can be challenging, with current reports suggesting that young Australians aged 18-25 years are experiencing the highest levels of mental distress.
But there's lots to be hopeful about. Grace believes that young people are starting to adapt to the changing world, it’s just about giving them the resources to learn how to manage what’s happening in their own heads.
“There’s a lot of pressure on young people to succeed and in a world where it’s very difficult to afford rent or for students to find permanent work: I think young people are incredibly resilient”.
At headspace, we are dedicated to supporting young people at every stage of that journey. Your donation helps improve mental health outcomes for young Australians, from early intervention to resources that support young people and their families to develop strategies to live mentally healthy and engaged lives.
We know it’s a difficult time. If you are able, we ask you to consider making a donation this festive season. We deeply appreciate each and every donation – no matter how small.
All donations over $2 are 100% tax deductible.
